We are looking for a creative engineer with experience in the field of data engineering. You love to build state of the art data pipelines to unite information from various sources. You also have a knack for diving into the data together with data scientists.
What you will do
- Architect and build a data lake and data pipeline from scratch for our data scientists to work efficiently in.
- Build processes for data extraction, transformation and loading along with both physical and logical warehouse layers, catering to seamless integration with state-of-the-art analytic tools.
- Create user-friendly datasets using cutting-edge data modeling techniques to ensure accessibility and clarity.
- Maintain daily oversight of data feeds and refresh processes within the warehouse, proactively addressing any encountered challenges.
What you bring
- Industry experience within the realms of data engineering or data architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, AWS, Parquet and Timescale.
- Bachelors/Master’s degree Computer Science, Applied Physics, Data Science or related or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in the above-mentioned tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English.
